										Biographical Info

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is certified in Ecotherapy, EMDR and I am a Wilderness First Responder Equine Interaction Professional in Petaluma, CA. I serve the LGBTQ Plus community because everyone deserves to have space to feel safe in the world, our community and in “our” bodies. I have had personal experience on my life with a myriad of life experience that deeply touch me related to this specific concentration and care.
My practice is geared towards individuals who seek to grow, challenge and take leadership in their lives. I have a deep interest in working with those who want to work somatically and those who desire to connect with animals, nature and the inherent wisdom the resides within their being. I utilize an integrative approach with extensive training in depth oriented therapies, women's issues, trauma, sexual abuse, incest, eating disorders, ecopsychology and equine facilitated psychotherapy. I interweave the connection to all beings to that of nature. I am grounded in sound clinical practice to help support client's in getting in touch with a deeper sense of being, embodiment and purpose. I believe that each person who comes into my office has the capacity to heal and everything they need within to do so. I believe that my job as a psychotherapist is to support her client's in finding self knowing, wisdom, compassion, grace, humility and resolution in their journey.
I also uses other approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused CBT, solution-focused therapies, IFS, somatic based therapy, art, mindfulness, as well as incorporation of family systems and soul based approaches. Lindsey treats eating disorders from a HAES (Health at Every Size Model).
I believe in the human capacity to love and transform. I am passionate about human rights, access to medical care and taking care of the Earth. I deeply care about the human spirit, kindness, Mother Earth and animals. My dog, River, can often be found as extra emotional support in my office. I believe in a strong therapy container where all things can be brought to therapy and be explored.
