Dr. Shanna Butler, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Shanna Butler (she/they) is a Licensed Psychologist offering Jungian and somatic psychotherapy as well as ketamine assisted psychotherapy and integration for individuals, couples, and relationships. Specializations include affirmative psychotherapy for the LGBTQ+ communities, post trauma recovery and growth, couples/relationship therapy, support around polyamory and consensual non-monogamy, and spiritual and creative development. Her philosophy as a psychologist is informed from several streams including the study of depth psychology, social justice theories and movements, and many spiritual and wisdom traditions. Dr. Butler strives to support their patients in accessing their own places of inner power and truth and invites healing that creates movement towards greater connection with self and the world. Dr. Butler’s research interests pertain to archetypal and alchemical theories of gender identities, psychedelic psychotherapy for LGBTQ+ communities, and the use of active imagination, ceremony, and ritual in therapeutic spaces.
