Biographical Info
Hi, I am Heather (she/they). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT53037) who has years of experience serving communities of queer, trans, and gender nonconforming clients across life stages and backgrounds. I hold a foundation in trauma-informed care including being trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as somatic connection to support clients healing from trauma and returning to their core selves. I also have a background in Early Childhood Mental Health and perinatal health, and am able to see children and families across developmental stages. My approach is one that is warm, relational, and innovative while holding central the use of the therapeutic space to provide a strong container within which clients are invited to co-create safety, trust, and connection as a bridge to their highest health and vitality.
