Danielle Aubin

Hello! My name is Danielle (she/they). I’ve been a practicing psychotherapist since 2010 and specialize in working with Autistic, AuDHD, and trans and gender-diverse adults. As an AuDHD, autigender, ace (LGBTQ+) therapist, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work, particularly with trans Autistic people navigating identity, trauma, and systems that were not built for them. My approach is person-centered, gender-affirming, and anti-pathologizing. I show up as my authentic Autistic self with the goal of fostering a safe, collaborative, and affirming therapeutic relationship focused on what matters most to you. I integrate ACT, EMDR, DBT, Jungian therapy, Motivational Interviewing, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches, and autism-affirming care. I’m trained through Postpartum Support International in PMAD treatment and formally trained in autism assessment using the MIGDAS-2, with additional training in PDA and autism-affirming psychotherapy.
