From the time I began my journey to becoming a therapist, in 2012, it was with the intention of serving the LGBTQ+ community to which I belong. From my humble beginnings in practicum at Pacific Center, to my affiliation with Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health—formerly an associate, now an occasional supervisor—my clients tend to exist well outside “cis/het norms,” range from a/ to pansexual, and more often than not are neuroqueer, as well. Being neurospicy myself, I have been a member of a neurodiversity-affirming therapists’ consultation group for several years. I am a transpersonal therapist with a solution-oriented lens and gradient, woo-colored filters aligned to clients’ comfort levels. Licensed in both California and Oregon, I have recently returned to the Bay Area (Yay!) and I do have an office in Mill Valley*, but mostly work via telehealth. I am not on any insurance panels; I am happy to provide superbills.
